8 years on, they're still independent, and you’ll find PROPER all over the world. But one thing that’s never changed is their obsession with creating the tastiest snacks around. Snacks that never compromise on health. In fact, they were the first B Corp certified snack company in the UK.

Glass Onion started in 2004 with their Founder John selling vintage out of his Grandma’s coal shed in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The next 15 years consisted of market stalls, festival pop-ups and 10 warehouse moves as they grew.
They've since grown to become the UKs leading vintage clothing company, processing up to 20,000 kgs of second hand clothing every single week at their HQ. Every piece has been thrown away and was destined for landfill.
They have an in-house remade factory where they recycle damaged and unwanted clothes and off-cuts by transforming them into something new that can be worn again for years to come. Their factory manufactures up to 12,000 pieces of remade clothing a month.

Knickey was founded as a sustainable brand from the start - seeking out the most environmentally responsible processes, low-impact fabrics and ethical manufacturing - and they're always ready to do more. They swap the greenwashing for integrity and accountability. By choosing Knickey, you can be confident that every step of their design, product and business has been carefully considered. They do our homework so you don’t have to.
All the earth-friendly, impact-minimizing processes in the world can’t make an ordinary product extraordinary. That’s why they worked so hard and perfected their range of body-loving fits, a range of styles, and an absolutely dreamy organic cotton that’s a pleasure to wear.
And when your undies reach the end of their lifespan, Knickey has just the solution for you. Send them to their Recycling Program, and your ready-to-retire intimates will be turned into new materials like insulation, carpet padding and furniture batting. They take undies, bras, socks and tights - even mens and kids too! And as a little thank you, they'll add 300 Top Drawer Rewards points to your account - enough for 15% off your next order.
