The Swimwear Edit is a small independent editorial site. This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and where to go instead when the answer lies elsewhere.

Editorial corrections

If something on this site is wrong — a figure that has been superseded, a fabric description that no longer reflects how the material is made, a broken piece of a guide — we would rather know. Corrections are made to the page itself rather than appended as errata, since the point of a reference site is that the current version is the accurate one.

What we cannot help with

We do not sell swimwear, and we are not connected to any brand or retailer that does. That means we cannot help with orders, deliveries, exchanges, refunds, sizing exchanges, faulty items or warranty claims for anything you have bought elsewhere. Those enquiries need to go to the retailer you actually bought from, who will have your order reference and is the only party able to act on it.

We also cannot confirm whether a particular brand holds a particular certification. Certification bodies publish searchable registers of the businesses they have certified, and those registers are the authoritative source — a logo on a website is not.

Using material from this site

Text written for The Swimwear Edit may be quoted with attribution and a link back to the page it came from. Photography on the site is archive editorial and campaign imagery reproduced for illustration; rights in those images rest with their original holders, so please do not treat their appearance here as permission to reuse them.

A good proportion of the questions that reach a site like this one are already answered on it. If your question is about how a fabric is made, start with the fabrics guide.
