PRIVACY POLICY
The Swimwear Edit is an independent editorial website. It has no shop, no accounts, no newsletter and no contact form, which makes this policy considerably shorter than most.
What we collect
Nothing that you type. There are no registration forms, no order forms, no newsletter sign-up and no comment fields on this site, so there is no route by which you could submit a name, an email address, a postal address or payment details to us, and none is stored.
Server logs
Like every website, this one is served by a web server that keeps standard access logs. Those records typically include the IP address making the request, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page if there is one, and the browser's user-agent string. They exist so that the site can be kept running and abuse can be identified, they are not linked to any individual, and they are not used to build profiles or sold to anyone.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own and embeds no third-party trackers, social media pixels or advertising tags. Nothing here follows you to another website.
Third-party content
Pages on this site do not embed content served from other domains — no external fonts, no hosted video players, no social media widgets. Everything the page loads comes from this site's own server, which means no third party learns that you visited a given page.
Links out
As a matter of editorial policy this site does not link to external websites. Where an organisation, certification body or scheme is described, it is described by name so that you can look it up yourself. That is deliberate: it keeps the site free of affiliate arrangements and means no outbound click discloses your visit here to anyone.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in relation to personal data held about you. Since this site holds no personal data beyond transient server logs, in practice there is nothing to access, correct, port or delete. If you believe otherwise, say so and we will check the logs and confirm.
Changes
If this site ever adds a feature that does collect information — it has no plans to — this page will be updated before that feature goes live rather than afterwards.
