SIZE GUIDE FOR EVERY WOMAN

Our pieces are designed to flatter every woman. In order to help you make the best decision when it comes to fit we have used a range of models whose clothing sizes, bra sizes and heights are listed below. If you have any further queries about fit then please get in touch on shop@staywildswim.com.

How to take your measurements

We recommend measuring up to get the best fit, you can use a tape measure to do this. Ensure you're wearing a soft unstructured bra when measuring yourself, to get the most accurate result. We also recommend placing a finger between you and the tape measure to allow for some breathing room in your final measurements.

Stay Wild Essentials - runs true to size, so we recommend purchasing the standard size you wear.

Stay Wild Swim - due to the double layered nature of the swimwear fabric if you are between sizes we recommend sizing up.

Alterations

We know how important it is to find clothing that supports you and allows you to feel empowered. We now offer free alterations on our pieces to anyone who has a prosthetic limb or any other physical disability. We also offer the option to sew in pockets for anyone recovering from breast cancer surgery. Please email shop@staywildswim.com to enquire.

Care

We have placed a huge focus on producing and designing products which are built to last. If treated well, your Stay Wild pieces will continue to support you in any ocean, on any beach, ocean and wild swimming spot for years to come. Once it leaves Stay Wild HQ we need your support in continuing to care for your very own piece and we’ve put together some recommendations on how to do so;

Essentials: short delicate wash is preferable and should be kept below 30 Degrees (40 max) wash with similar colours. The material is a functional innovative material which is is anti bacterial and requires less washing. By reducing the amount we wash our clothes we are also helping to save the planet.

Swimwear: Sea salt and chlorine are both cleaning agents (which can be very harsh on materials and if worn regularly in chlorine it can damage your swimwear/shorten the lifespan) so we recommend limiting use in chlorine and washing your piece after you wear it. This is as simple as taking a shower straight after a swim in cold fresh water to remove all chlorine then lying the piece flat to dry.

In the event that your suit really needs a clean, please wash it by hand in as cool a temperature as possible. If machine wash is the only option (we recommend hand washing), a short delicate wash is preferable and should be kept below 30 Degrees and a guppyfriend washing bag should be used. Wash inside out with similar colours.

Light colours should only be washed in cool temperatures, being mindful of mixing colours, and pieces with dark and light colourways please avoid soaking for a long time and leave flat to dry.

Try to keep out of direct sunlight and try to avoid letting your swimsuit remain cold and damp after you use it in the pool.

Please don’t iron your suit, you already look great and the creases will stretch out when you put it on. Avoid tumble drying too.

Aim to apply suncream before you put the pieces on because suncream is meant for skin and not swimsuits!
