GILI LANKANFUSHI IN MALDIVES
Built from eco-friendly materials, the water villas of Gilli Lankanfushi are centred on the ocean. Knowing the marine life brings tourism to the Maldives, the team does all it can to protect it. From their resident marine biologist monitoring the reefs, to the organic toiletries in refillable containers, every aspect of the resort’s operation has been considered.

By teaching guests about the natural beauty of the reefs, it is hoped that the practices taught will encourage them to live a zero-waste existence. Special reef clean dives are organised for guests and the resort has a reef rehabilitation project underway.
